Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how VEER (“we”, “us”, the “Store”) collects and processes your personal data when you shop at our online store. The Store is the seller and the data fiduciary responsible for your data. The store operates on the Drapeinn platform, which processes data on our behalf as a data processor.

Personal data we collect

To take and fulfil your orders we collect: your name; contact details (email address, phone number); delivery/billing address; order and cart details; and communications you send us.

Payments are processed by our payment gateway (Razorpay). We receive a confirmation of payment status and a reference id — we do not collect or store your full card number, UPI PIN, CVV, or bank credentials.

We also collect limited technical data (device/browser information and basic usage analytics) to run and secure the store.

Why we use your data (purposes)

We process your data to: create and fulfil your orders; process payments; arrange delivery and returns; provide customer support; send order-related communications; prevent fraud and secure the store; and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We rely on your consent and, where applicable, the necessity to perform the contract (your order) and to comply with law, as recognised under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who we share it with

We share your data only as needed to run the store: with Razorpay for payment processing; with our logistics/courier partner (e.g. Shiprocket and the delivery carrier) to deliver and return orders; and with the Drapeinn platform for hosting and order management. These partners process your data under their own terms and applicable law.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

How long we keep it (retention)

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically up to 3 years after your last interaction with the store — and longer only where a law (for example, tax and accounting rules) requires it. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may: access a summary of your data and how it is processed; request correction or updating; request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention); withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights; and raise a grievance.

Security & data breaches

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (including encryption in transit) to protect your data. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but in the event of a personal-data breach we will act and notify affected persons and the Data Protection Board as required by the DPDP framework.

Children

Our store is intended for customers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children without verifiable parental/guardian consent.

Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep your cart and session working, and limited analytics to improve the store. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
